SEASTAR LED 2500

 

The SEASTAR LED 2500 is a self-contained video light with an output of 2500 lumens and a beam angle of 120 degrees with absolutely no "hot-spots".

The LED's and control electronics are permanently sealed in the front light head and are independently watertight from the battery compartment. The rear battery compartment/magnetic switch is sealed to the light head by a main "Quad-type" O-ring and a secondary O-ring for double integrity sealing. 100 metre (300 feet) depth rating.

 

SEASTAR LED 4000

The SEASTAR LED 4000 is a compact yet powerful self-contained video light with a remarkable light output of 4000 lumens. Most importantly this power comes at a beam angle of 120 degrees (due to a special micro lens on each emitter) with absolutely no "hot-spots". A wide beam angle is vital to get full coverage with the super-wide angle lenses that are now available for the new generation of video cameras and VidDSLR's. Weight is kept to a minimum (1.5 kg / 3 lbs) by the efficient use of marine grade aluminium, 316 grade stainless steel and plastic polymer.

A powerful, wide beam video light also allows still photography with VidDSLR's...it's no longer necessary to carry video lights AND strobes when using a VidDSLR like the Canon 5D2 or 7D.

The best current generation LED emitters are selected for optimum chromaticity and luminosity per watt for underwater videography and custom PCB mounted at the factory for HDVSEATEK.

An important consideration for photographers working in remote locations is RELIABILITY and REDUNDANCY.

The SEASTAR LED 4000 has a unique modular design where the control electronics are entirely built into the battery pack. Since battery packs can be exchanged in seconds any failure due to flooding (of the battery compartment) or electronic malfunction can simply be rectified in the field by inserting a new battery pack.
